wireless rear channel speaker upgrade kit pictured to the
right is a required add-on to any 2006 model Panasonic
home theater system to allow wireless connection for rear
surround speakers. We recommend the following 3 home
theater systems, each sold separately for under $600 shipped:

Panasonic SC-RT50 recordable DVD
home theater system, the
Panasonic SC-HT940
home theater system, and the
Panasonic SC-HT740
home theater system.
The wireless
transmitter connects to the rear speaker outputs on the back of
the main amplifier unit of your Panasonic home theater
system. The wireless receiver puts out 70 watts per channel
to drive your two rear surround sound speakers. The 2.4GHz frequency
is used for wireless audio transmission instead of two long
speaker wires. You'll
still need to plug in the wireless receiver amplifier into an AC
outlet, and your 2 rear speakers into the wireless receiver
amplifier with
standard speaker
